The following pictures and statistics were
taken at each stage of the 8 week period. You can see my
very rapid progress in both the pictures and
measurements. Seeing the changes like this also makes me
realise how quickly it is possible to lose weight after
pregnancy. Also I think it is amazing the way that
your body responds to the changes both during and after
pregnancy.
Everyone will lose
weight and tone up at different rates, some will be
quicker than me, others may be slower, but here are
my results.

So there you have
it, my total transformation from being a tired and
exhausted new mum in week one who looked washed out and
stressed with an extremely poor self image and zero
energy. To feeling absolutely amazing, on top of the
world by week eight. I won't lie to you, in weeks seven
and eight I started applying fake tan and really making
more effort on my appearance so that makes me look a lot
healthier, but I think that you are always more inclined
to that when you feel good.
Nevertheless the
photos don't lie. You can see how my stomach flattens in
double quick time.
I also had extremely supportive people around
me, but Tamzin was around me throughout the entire eight weeks,
so I still managed to contend with that. If you are even
considering whether you could have the time or the energy to do
this plan, I would strongly urge you to. Not only for yourself,
but for your new baby, she got so much fresh air and quality
time with me. I had more patience with Tamzin than I did with
my first daughter - Megan. Mainly I am sure because I felt
better in myself.
So if you decide
to give this plan a try or not, you owe it to yourself to
get back in to shape as quickly as you can after having
your baby. I did have a natural birth with no
complications so I managed to start with the pelvic floor
and pelvic tilting exercises straight away. If you are
not as fortunate as that, just start as soon as you can -
